Real Life Solutions

RapidsDo you ever feel like life is spinning out of control? Like you're riding the rapids without a paddle? Life in the 21st century presents a myriad of issues that can challenge even the most organized and "in control" person.

The therapists at Christian Family Institute can help you successfully navigate the rapids of life.

The counseling process is, in many ways, like an educational experience. The client not only learns more about him/herself, but may also acquire new skills. Sometimes, counseling involves learning more about a particular condition (e.g., depression, anxiety, eating disorders) by which the client is affected, so that he/she can better understand treatment options.

The primary benefit of counseling is that it gives a person a safe place to talk to another person, and counselors are trained to be able to listen to and understand anything, no matter how strange or unusual it may seem at first. All human beings need a safe place where they can talk openly and freely to another person without fear of being judged.

CFI offers many different forms of counseling. Some of those include, but are not limited to:

  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy
  • Premarital therapy
  • Individual therapy (for children, teens, and adults)
  • Marriage counseling
  • Bereavement & grief counseling
  • Addictions counseling
